Stock Shortfalls Guide
A read-only log of sales that consumed more raw material stock than was actually on hand, so nothing runs out unnoticed.
Open Stock Shortfalls to see every sale that consumed more of a raw material than was available.

A shortfall is logged whenever a sale's recipe or modifier options need more of a raw material than is currently in stock.
Result: The sale still completes -- the raw material's stock is clamped at zero rather than the sale being blocked.
Watch for the automatic notification email sent to admins/managers the moment a shortfall occurs.
Result: You can restock or investigate before it happens again, without needing to check this page proactively.
When a raw material runs short, its stock is clamped at zero and the shortfall is logged here -- the sale itself still completes. This is different from a sold product's own stock, which does block the sale if it runs out.
This page has no create/edit/delete actions -- it's purely a log, viewable by managers and admins.
Every shortfall triggers an automatic email to admins and managers listing the sale, cashier, and each shorted item -- this page is for review, not discovery.
