Sales History Guide

How to use Sales History

This guide is for web-based sales review and auditing only; new sale checkout happens in the mobile POS app.

Primary Actions

Search

Search by sale number or customer keyword from the filter area.

Result: Quickly narrows the table to matching transactions.

Filter Controls

Apply status, cashier, and date filters before auditing totals.

Result: Produces focused transaction sets for review.

View Details

Open a sale row details panel to inspect items and payment data.

Result: Supports reconciliation and dispute checks.

Recommended Workflow

  1. Open Dashboard > Sales.
  2. Select reporting date and optional cashier filter first.
  3. Use Search when checking a specific receipt or customer.
  4. Open View Details for suspicious, cancelled, or high-value sales.
  5. Compare row totals against shift cash-out records.
  6. Use pagination to inspect older pages before final reconciliation.

Best Practices

  • Always set date before searching to reduce noise.
  • Use cashier filters for performance coaching and accountability.
  • Review cancelled sales daily for approval consistency.
  • Cross-check payment method totals against actual settlement records.
