How to use Reports (Web View)

This guide explains reporting actions, premium credit usage, and best-practice filtering for accurate business analysis.

Web View Only: Reports are intended for browser dashboard usage. Sales checkout remains app-exclusive.

Main Report Actions

Generate Report

Set date/cashier/payment/status filters, then click Generate Report.

Result: Loads report summary data and consumes preview credits for premium processing.

Export PDF/CSV/Excel

After previewing, click your preferred export format.

Result: Downloads the report file and consumes export credits separately.

Reset Filters

Click Reset to clear all report filters and start fresh.

Result: Returns filters to default values for a new query run.

Web View Notes

  • Reports are designed for web dashboard usage where larger report tables and exports are easier to review.
  • Use /dashboard/reports from desktop or laptop browser for best experience.
  • For sales checkout, continue using the mobile app. Reporting is a web-focused back-office workflow.

Premium Credit Usage

  • Preview credit charge: generating a report preview consumes credits.
  • Export credit charge: exporting to PDF/CSV/Excel consumes credits separately.
  • The page shows available credits and required credit cost for preview and export.
  • If credits are insufficient, report actions are blocked until credits are topped up.
  • After successful export, wallet balances refresh to reflect the latest credit usage.

Report Filter Guide

Date Range

Use start and end dates to isolate daily, weekly, or monthly performance.

Cashier

Filter by cashier to evaluate staff-level sales output.

Payment Method

Break down trends by cash, card, mobile money, or transfer.

Status

Focus analysis on completed, pending, or cancelled records.
