Add A Raw Material
Click Add Raw Material and fill in name, SKU, unit (pcs, kg, ml, etc.), cost/selling price, and starting stock.
Result: The material becomes available to link into product recipes and modifier options.

How to use Raw Materials
Track ingredient-level stock, set reorder levels, and link suppliers so restocking never comes as a surprise.
Primary Actions
Set A Reorder Level
Set the Reorder Level field to the stock quantity that should trigger a restock.
Result: Once stock falls to or below this level, the material is flagged for reorder.
Link A Supplier
Assign a supplier to the material from the Supplier dropdown when adding or editing it.
Result: The material is automatically included in that supplier's order list in Ordering.
Recommended Workflow
- Open Dashboard > Operations > Raw Materials.
- Add each ingredient you track stock for, with its unit and starting quantity.
- Set a reorder level for anything that needs restocking before it runs out.
- Assign a supplier so it shows up automatically when you generate order lists.
- Search by name or SKU to find a material quickly as your list grows.
Best Practices
- Pick a consistent unit per material (don't mix kg and g for the same ingredient across records).
- Set reorder levels with enough buffer for your supplier's typical lead time.
- Assign a supplier to every material you reorder regularly -- unassigned materials won't appear in supplier order lists.
- Deactivate materials you no longer use instead of deleting them, to preserve historical recipe/purchase data.
Operational Notes
Viewing Is Open, Editing Isn't
Any team member can view the Raw Materials list, but only a manager or admin can add, edit, or delete entries.
Separate From Products
Raw Materials tracks ingredient-level stock consumed by recipes and modifier options -- it's a different list from your sellable Products catalog.
