How to use Accounting

The hub for tracking operational assets, managing tax rates, and keeping an eye on tenant credit usage.

Primary Actions

Open Fixed Assets to record branch-assigned equipment and track its lifecycle.

Result: Full visibility into operational assets across your business.

Open Tax Rates to add, edit, or set the default rate applied at checkout.

Result: Consistent, correct tax calculation on every sale.

Open Credits Spent to see your wallet balance and a full history of premium actions that consumed credits.

Result: Clear visibility into what's driving credit spend, before it runs low.

Open Dashboard > Accounting.
Set your default tax rate first in Tax Rates -- it applies automatically at checkout.
Log operational equipment in Fixed Assets as it's acquired or transferred between branches.
Check Credits Spent periodically, especially before running a large report export.

Keep exactly one tax rate marked as default to avoid checkout ambiguity.
Update a Fixed Asset's record whenever it moves branches, not just when it's first purchased.
Track credit balance trends over time rather than only checking when an action is blocked for insufficient credits.

Fixed Assets and Tax Rates need product-management access; Credits Spent needs manager or admin.

Your plan covers day-to-day operations; premium report actions are pay-as-you-go via the credit wallet, on top of your plan.
